Fire Dept. Fund Raiser

The Princeton Fire Department is selling Sunbeam Smoke Detectors as part of a continuing-fund raising effort. The detectors are the ionization type, which run on a nine-volt battery and come with a traveling clip for travel use.

The money raised from the sale of the smoke detectors will be used to increase the Fire Department’s library of training tapes. These allow individual firefighters to view the tapes in their free time. The Department may soon be able to expand its library to include fire prevention tapes along with a complete training program.

The smoke detectors cost $12 each. They are available at The Flower Market. 26, Witherspoon Street, 683-4008.

They may also be purchased by contacting any Line Officer of the Princeton Fire Department.
