Lots of Smoke, No Fire When Pot Left on Stove

A pot left on a stove in a Devereux Avenue home last week filled the interior with smoke but no fire.

Firemen from two fire trucks arrived and ventilated the house with fans. Police were called at 12:45 last Tuesday afternoon.
