Kitchen Fire Put Out At 405 Redding Circle
A kitchen fire at 405 Redding Circle last Wednesday was put out by a housing. supervisor with a fire extinguisher by the time police responded.
A plastic tea kettle placed on the stove had melted and ignited when the occupant turned on the burner, police said. Flames shot out and ignited cabinets. There was some damage reported to the stove, kitchen walls and cabinets and smoke damage.
Princeton firemen and three pieces of fire apparatus responded and used fans to vent the interior of smoke.
