Thanks for the help
To the editor:
On behalf of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Athenian Restaurant, the Annex Restaurant, William Boozer of Princeton Savings and Loan, P.J.’s Pancake House, Princeton University and anyone else we may have overlooked for the assistance they gave us in helping to serve coffee, donuts and soup to the rescue squad members and firemen during the fire on Jan. 9 at Value Fair on Nassau Street.
The cooperation of everyone involved helps us to better serve our community in time of need.

Outstanding job
To the editor:
I’d like to take this opportunity to acknowledge all the wonderful people who are members of Princeton’s police and fire departments, as well as our neighboring department members. for their outstanding performance during the horrendous fire on Nassau Street on Jan. 9.
As wife of one of the volunteer fire fighters, I have a fair inkling of the tremendous effort they demonstrated for the many long and tedious hours into the following day. Their courage and professionalism is truly unsurpassed.
I am indeed proud to be a member of such a fine community.
