Car, motorcycle collide
Rescue workers assist a woman who was injured Saturday when the motorcycle on which she was a passenger collided with a car on Nassau Street. George Rock Jr., 26, and his passenger, Gail Skwarek, 32, — both of Trenton — were headed west on Nassau Street at 12:16 p.m. when a car turned from Princeton Avenue and struck their Yamaha motorcycle, said borough police Capt. Thomas Michaud. Mr. Rock received brush burns on his shoulder and elbow, but refused medical attention, according to police. Ms. Skwarek was transported by the Princeton First Aid Squad to the Medical Center at Princeton, where she was treated for hip and lower back pains and released that day, according to police and a hospital spokeswoman. The driver of a four-door Honda sedan, Carol Lee of Princeton Township, told police she saw the motorcycle but thought she could make a left turn onto Nassau Street in time, Capt. Michaud said. Ms. Lee, 36, did not sport any injuries from the accident. She was given a summons for failure to yield at a stop sign.
