Garbage Garnish

GARBAGE GARNISH: A portion of Nassau Street across from Town Topics lies festooned with garbage after a fire Friday morning in a garbage disposal truck. Sgt. Peter Hanley and Patrolmen John Reading and Victor Fasanella and two fire units responded to the 11:31 call. Police report that the fire was confined to the garbage compartment of the truck operated by Higgins Disposal Service of Laurel Avenue in Kingston. The truck sustained only minor damage.
