Smoke Fills House 

Spontaneous Fire Blamed

The home of Horton Davies, 120 McCosh Circle, filled with smoke Friday night when a pile of linseed oil-soaked rags in a kitchen cabinet apparently ignited spontaneously.

Police in responding to a 10:15 call, found the rags, which the owner reported had been used for cleaning and dusting.
